In La Plagne, the mountain reaches out to walkers. A trail for pushchairs - get some fresh air with the whole family!
This is a lovely walk through a forest of larch, spruce and Swiss pine trees. Although quite long, the walk is relatively flat and is a good choice for a family walk as the paths are well trodden.
During this walk, you will be able to learn more about the coal mines that were in operation up to the 20th century. The importance of the mining activity at this time can be seen from the ruins
Mont Saint Jacques has amazing views of the Tarentaise valley and the mountains of Mont Blanc, Beaufortain, and Vanoise. This lovely trail takes you through a wonderful setting, with an abundance of Swiss pines.
The forest is an exceptional environment and throughout this walk, you will have an opportunity to explore the north side of the valley, enjoying extraordinary views over Mont Blanc and the Beaufortin.
